Hello and welcome to my new site, where I plan to feature my books and any upcoming releases! Here, you'll update you with any work in-progress, behind-the-scenes stories on my books, and any general updates you may wish to read.

My Origins

Writing has always been a passion of mine. Since I was a kid, I'd write zany short stories called Puppy is Mad, which was part of a wider world of Kitty, Pussy and Puppy. A few years back, I thought it would be a fun experiment to revisit my origins and create a 25th anniversary collection of brand new short stories from a new origins story to a new ending story. I even illustrated the whole thing! It's quite fun and full of activities, but is very much, um, adult. Kitty, Pussy and Puppy is NOT FOR KIDS.

Beyond that, the first novel I wrote was called Inspector Theo, now lost to time. It was about a drunk investigator who ended up committing the very crimes he was looking into, just that he couldn't remember doing them. It was very tongue-in-cheek and I'm likely to redo that some day, just because it was so fun at the time.

When I was 16, I wrote Sea of Seals. This sea-fairing adventure starred Smaz the knight, who accidentally kills the king and is launched into a journey to clear his name. The very character would become my online name in many places, and the character has endured for me.

But the first actual book I published? Band Cramp, in 2015. I will no doubt go more into detail on Band Cramp in future, but just know that it's one very close to my heart and I urge anyone to give it a try if you're looking into what book of mine to read first. I'm even re-releasing it in preparation for Band Cramp 2!

Since Band Cramp, I've mostly worked in marketing. I started as a copywriter, utilising my writing skills, but these days I write on the side. That has even lead to writing a sci-fi video game in Dark Matter: Hudokai. Why not take a look at my selection and see if something takes your fancy.

And So, Foxx Camp is Born...

And so, Foxx Camp was started to pull together all my works over the years, published and not. Many of them are being rewritten and updated to be published, such as Sea of Seals and Biorhythm. So, keep an eye out for those in future!

However, at the time of writing, my focus is on the re-release of Band Cramp. This one is more of a cover update with some author edits and clean up in preparation for Band Cramp 2. The first book did moderately well upon first release, particularly in the drum and bugle corps marching community. I figured it was about time to write the sequel, following a long period of working on Dark Matter: Hudokai - a project that spanned a decade.
